  5. WHERE IS THE QUICKMENU?

  7. You won't find this on any menu, but it's the handiest feature for working
  8. with Button Bars.  Click your right mouse button anywhere on the Button
  9. Bar and get a QuickMenu of other Button Bars to choose from.

  12. QUICK FILE MANAGEMENT

  14. The File Open dialog box included an Option button with options to Delete,
  15. Copy, Move/Rename, or Find, so you don't always need to access File Manager
  16. to organize your files.  And don't forget the Quick List, which gives longer
  17. names to your DOS directories for easier access.

  20. DRAG AND COPY

  22. It's easy to drag and copy text: select text, click anywhere in the selection,
  23. and drag the text to a new location.  To copy text, press the CTRL key while
  24. dragging the selection.  The box shadow of the pointer turns black when 
  25. copying.  When you release the mouse button, a copy of your selected text
  26. appears at the insertion point without typing in a stroke!

  29. "IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO DO LABELS?"

  31. To create labels for a laser or dotmatrix printer, play the LABELS.WCM
  32. macro included in WordPerfect 5.2.  This macro will let you select the 
  33. paper size and specifications necessary for printing labels.

  36. "HOW DO I USE SMART QUOTES?"
  37.  
  38. You can easily get typeset-quality quotes in your document with the Smart
  39. Quotes macro (SMQUOTE.WCM is located in the directory where your macros are
  40. stored, or create a button for them on your Button Bar).  This macro turns 
  41. typeset-quality quotes on or off and lets you select exactly the kind of 
  42. quotation marks you wish to use.

  45. FANCY BULLETS
  46.  
  47. The Bullet macro that ships with WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows lets you 
  48. quickly add emphasis to your documents.  The BULLET.WCM macro automatically
  49. adds bullets to selected text, and the BULLETDF.WCM lets you edit the bullet
  50. character.  You can press Ctrl-W and choose from any of the 1500+ WordPerfect
  51. characters for your bullet, or add a bullet button to your Button Bar.  Your
  52. bullet can also include up to five characters.
